About Me

The Heart Behind Harmonic Roots

I’m Karine, and before I became a Naturopath, I was simply someone searching for a healthier, more balanced way to live. I didn’t begin this journey as a believer, I began as someone seeking answers.

For many years, I lived in survival mode- always keeping my head above water. Between managing life demands, checking all the boxes, and doing what I thought I was suppose to do, I rarely took the time to simply breathe. From the outside, everything looked fine, but deep down I felt disconneccted from myself.

If someone had told me ten years ago that I would one day embrace a holistic approach to health, I would probably have been skeptical. I always believed that wellness was simply about treating symptoms. It wasn’t until I experienced naturopathic care and other complementary approaches firsthand (BioScan, hypnotherapy, accupuncture, Reiki, wellness workshops..) that my perspective began to change. Our bodies often give us subtle signals when something is out of balance. When we take the time to listen, reflect, and understand those signals within the context of our overall health and lifestyle, we can make more informed choices that support a better quality of life.

My own health journey began at a young age. Like many poeple, I experienced anxiety, depression, and insomnia, and for years I relied on medication as part of my care. I eventually realized I wanted to better understand what was happening beneath the surface. In my early thirties, I began exploring a more holistic approach to my health- one that looked at nutrition, lifestyle, stress, and the connection between mind and body. That journey transformed my life and ultimately led me to this path. It reminded me that lasting wellness often begins by looking beyond the symptoms and gently exploring the root cause.

As an Indigenous woman, my perspective on wellness has been shaped by the belief that we are deeply connected- to the land, to our communities, and to ourselves. I was raised with an appreciation for the wisdon found in nature and understanding that healing is about nurturing your mind, body, and spirit. Traditions rooted in respect for the natural world, reflection, and community have influenced the way I see health and wellness today. I’ve learned that healing is not always finding quick answers- it’s about returning to balance. Through life challenges, I’ve found strenght in resilience, in reconnecting with nature, and embracing values of respect, gratitude and community.

What began as a personal search for better health gradually evolved into a calling. It led me to pursue Naturopathic studies which gave me the opportunity to turn a personal passion into a meaningful career. I believe in approaching wellness with curiosity, compassion and open mind. I strive to create a space where poeple feel supported, empowered, and truly heard.

I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
